Horse Camp
The Marina Equestrian Center will be offering three Pony Camps this summer. Here is a great picture of the recent Pony Camp for all of you to enjoy. Pony Camp consists of basic horse & pony safety, taking care of your tack and equipment, feeding & mucking, bathing, braiding & grooming, combined with concentrated riding lessons taught by trainer Maura McPadden. The Pony Camps are a week long from 9am to 1pm, and are designed for children 8-14. MEA's goal is to create the opportunity for teaching upcoming Equestrians the responsibility, respect, and the skill of riding. The last day of Pony Camp is celebrated by a horse show, where the children can demonstrate their new found skills to their families. Every ones invited to the last day of Pony Camp for the Horse Show.
Please register through the City of Marina Parks and Recreation Department.
