Horse Camp
The Marina Equestrian Center currently holds two Pony Camps per year. One in the summer, July 13-17, 2009, and another will be held this fall. Here is a great picture of the recent Pony Camp for all of you to enjoy. Pony Camp consists of basic horse & pony safety, taking care of your tack and equipment, feeding & mucking, bathing, braiding & grooming, combined with concentrated riding lessons taught by trainer Maura McPadden. The Pony Camps are a week long from 9am to 1pm, and are designed for children 8-14. MEA's goal is to create the opportunity for teaching upcoming Equestrians the responsibility, respect, and the skill of riding. The last day of Pony Camp is celebrated by a horse show, where the children can demonstrate their new found skills to their families. Every ones invited to the last day of Pony Camp for the Horse Show.
