Marina Equestrian Center is a multi-use facility and all disciplines are welcome. We do not endorse specific trainers or training methods. Instructors and clinicians must be approved by the MEA Board of Directors and provide a current certificate of liability insurance.

Riding Programs

Petsavvy
PetSavvy Riding program serves the horse loving public by providing lessons on experienced and gentle school horses. The program is designed for beginning to intermediate riders ages six to adult. In addition to riding instruction participants can expect to learn how to safely handle a horse from the ground, proper grooming and care and how to tack up and prepare to ride.

*Lessons package pricing requires a weekly commitment. Exceptions will be made in cases of illness, inclement weather or by prior notifications. Offer good through January 2017!

*Spend quality time learning to interact with horses from the ground. Navigate leading through obstacles, longeing, grooming, understanding basic training principles and much more are part of this opportunity for those who may be uncertain about or unable to ride.

Christine Marie's Star Riders Christine Marie's Star Riders is a therapeutic and recreational horseback riding program for children and adults with special needs. Star Riders is an operating center for PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International) with program sites at both the Marina Equestrian Center in Marina, CA and in Chualar CA. The 501(c)3 non-profit program is operated by the donations and efforts of our community.
